Ken is known for his love of music, so when the fabulous Connie Mitchell of Sneaky Sound System got in touch with us to ask about creating a series of one-off costumes, we were happy to oblige! Her high energy performances in venues both intimate and vast meant that the costumes needed to be functional as well as eye-catching from afar.
Working with a range of prints from our archive to create these looks, she showcased them at the 2021 Gold Dinner (raising nearly $5m for Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation) and on the shores of Sydney Harbour with the iconic Opera House in the background.
